Q: How do I match up the width of my foot with ROCKY® available sizes?
A: ROCKY® makes all of their footwear in two different sizing combinations - #1 M, W, XW or #2. M/W, XW. With the most common #1 sizing a Medium (M) width is designed for a "D" width foot, a Wide (W) width is designed for a "E" or "EE" width foot, and a Extra Wide (XW or EW) is designed for a "EEE" width foot. On the #2 sizing option the Medium/Wide (M/W) width is a standard width for anyone with a "D" or "E" width foot, and the Extra Wide (XW or EW) is designed for an "EE" or "EEE" width foot.
Q: Why do you have only a few women's sizes available?
A: ROCKY® is one of the few companies that offers women's sizing. In most cases, women's feet are more narrow in the heel and have much less volume compared to a man's foot. The last, or mold, of a women's sized ROCKY® boot is built to accommodate women's feet specifically. However, if a woman selects a pair of men's boots, we recommend ordering 1 1/2 to 2 full sizes less than her standard women's size. For example, if a woman's shoe size is 10, she should order an 8 or 8.5 in a man's size.
